Divided City by Theresa Breslin.
This book looks at the friendship of two boys growing up in Glasgow and the problems they have with their families over sectarian issues, which may hinder their friendship. The boys are also trying to help a young refugee boy, who has been hurt because of racist violence against him.

This book would be relevant to children in P6/7 who are working on sectarian issues as it would give them an insight into how the boys feel. It would also be a good book to recommend to children of this age to read independently, as it would give the children a new perspective on sectarianism.
